By ordering from the Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care Shop (the Store), you agree to the Terms Of Purchase as set out herein in conjunction with this Site’s Terms Of Use.

Acceptance Of Order

By placing an order online you make an offer to purchase in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care will acknowledge receipt of your order both online and via an email order confirmation but this does not constitute our acceptance of your offer to purchase. Your offer has been accepted only when we have confirmed that your order has been dispatched.

Description Of Products

Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care take all reasonable care to ensure that details, descriptions and photographs of products within the store are accurate and up-to-date. However, from time to time errors may occur, alterations may be made to products by suppliers, colours within photographs may be affected by the settings of the computer on which it is viewed, etc. Therefore, we make no warranties, whether express or implied, in relation to the accuracy of details, descriptions and photographs of products within the store.

Pricing Of Products

Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care take all reasonable care to ensure that prices within the store are accurate. However, from time to time errors may occur and where such errors occur we reserve the right to withdraw the product from sale at the incorrect price and present it at the correct price. If you have placed an order at the incorrect price, we will inform you of the error and give you the opportunity to confirm your order at the correct price or cancel your order.

Availability Of Goods

Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care endeavour to keep the store up-to-date as and when products become out of stock although stock levels are constantly changing so all items are offered subject to availability.

Delivery

Delivery is offered to the UK mainland (England, Scotland & Wales) only.  Delivery costs will be displayed during the checkout process. Delivery is usually made within 1-5 working days of receipt of your order, however, there may be occasions when delays occur.

Shortages Or Damages In Delivery

If you believe that there are shortages in the number of products contained in a delivery or if any damage has occurred to the product(s) in transit you must contact us within 3 working days of receipt of the product(s).

Ownership Of The Goods

Ownership of the product(s) ordered shall be transferred to the customer once the product(s) have been delivered.

Cancellation Of Order

Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care reserve the right to cancel any order without giving reason whereupon you will be issued with a full refund of product and any delivery charge paid.

You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days following receipt and inspection of the product(s) – see returns information below.

Returns

Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care offers 14 days approval on products purchased within which time you have the right to return the product(s) following receipt and inspection.

When inspecting the product you should not remove any tags from the product, soil, use or damage the product and you should treat the manufacturer’s product packaging/box carefully. You have a duty of care to return the item and its branded manufacturer’s packaging in a good, re-saleable condition. Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care reserve the right to make a deduction from any refund amount or reject the return where any product is deemed to be soiled, damaged, used or not in a re-saleable condition. 

If you wish to return any part of your order, include the packing slip or order confirmation email with the product and indicate on this whether the product is being returned for exchange or refund. The product, within its original manufacturer’s packaging, should be suitably wrapped to avoid damage to the product whilst being returned.

You shall be responsible for the costs of returning the product and it is recommended that you use a tracked delivery service covered by adequate insurance based on the value of the product(s) returned as Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care will not be held liable for the loss of any products returned and not received.

Products returned will be refunded within 14 days of receipt by Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care .

Rejected Returns

Products posted for return later than 14 days after receipt of your order or where the product has been used, soiled or damaged will be rejected.

Rejected returns will be held for a period of 7 days from the customer being notified of the rejected return within which time the customer should arrange for the item to be collected or make payment of a delivery charge for the item to be returned to them.

Faulty Products

Products sold within our store are covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee only. Such guarantees cover faults due to defective workmanship or materials, but do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect and lack of care, accidental damage or normal wear and tear. In the case of products believed to be faulty then please email us with a description and photo of the fault. Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care will then advise on the course of action to be taken.

If it is determined that the product should be returned to Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care or the manufacturer then in order to comply with Health & Safety regulations any alleged faulty product which has been used should cleaned before being returned to ensure it is free from mud, dirt, hair, etc. Returns that do not meet with these criteria will be rejected and you will be charged a delivery cost for the product be returned to you.

A repair, replacement or refund will only be offered if the manufacturer deems that the product is faulty and their decision is final. Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Carecannot offer any repair, replacement or refund until the manufacturer has inspected and deemed that the product is faulty. If the manufacturer deems that there is no fault with the product and any damage is due to misuse, neglect and lack of care, accidental damage or normal wear and tear then the return of the product to you will be subject to a delivery cost.

Collection Of Personal Information

Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care will collect personal data (your name, address, email address and telephone number) when you make a purchase from our store in order to process your order, communicate with you about your order and to arrange delivery with a postal or courier service. Personal details will be passed to our payment processor in order to process your payment during the checkout process.

Card Payment Security

Payments are processed via securely via our payment processor with card details entered directly to their servers.   Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care does not have access to and does not store card details.

Disclaimer

Charley Dolittle’s Dog Walking & Pet Care takes no responsibility for the misuse or quality of any product sold. In the event of injury or death caused queries should be directed to the manufacturer of the product.

Law & Jurisdiction

All goods are sold under English law and any disputes arising in connection with your purchase will be governed by English law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
